SOME THINGS NEVER CHANGE
Hey y’all, it’s me popping up to say hello! I’ve been taking it easy these past few months and have been mostly active on Instagram so if you’re not on there, I hope you’re well!
About 2 years ago, Polyvore (one of my fave digital platforms) went away leaving me and many others bummed out. I started using the site for my first blog, about 10 years ago (while in college) so you could imagine my disappointment when I found out the company was acquired and the platform changed completely. There was no proper upfront communication regarding the acquisition and many including myself found out our boards were gone while trying to login as usual. If I remember correctly,there was an option to download existing boards but the functionality and instructions were flawed and instead of becoming frustrated, I decided to (queue Frozen’s soundtrack) let it go!
Since the deprecation I’ve been longing to easily create mood-boards as a fun activity that takes me back to the college girl in her first apartment and truly evokes memories of the little girl in me who loved playing dress up; some things never change.
After a bit of research, I found several new platforms that afford you the ability to create similar mood-boards/collages & I’ve been testing a out few. Once I’m comfy with one, I’ll be sure to share but in the meantime check out a handful of style boards I created for your fashion inspiration.
